Presentation Title:

The pain of an inevitable loss: A case report of a live 14-week tubal pregnancy in a primigravid

Abstract

A double suction centrifugal type of pump was converted into a hydraulic turbine (pat-pump acting as a turbine). The casing was maintained and the pump impeller was replaced by a hydraulic runner. It was made of stainless steel with a diameter of 0.662 meters. It had 12 blades as compared to the 5 blades of the original pump impeller. It was assembled inside the original pump casing and was installed along the existing 0.9 m diameter water pipeline of the rio Verde water consortium inc. The water treatment plant has an elevation of around 100 meters above sea level. A bypass line was connected along the existing pipeline to accommodate the installation of the PAT Ectopic pregnancy is the implantation of the embryo outside the uterus. Ninety five Percent occur in the fallopian tube, and clinical signs and symptoms of rupture usually occur at about  6 to 8 weeks gestation. They rarely reach the second trimester of pregnancy due to hypogastric pain. This is a case of an elderly primigravid who was referred due to hypogastric pain and an initial ultrasound finding of an abdominal pregnancy at 13 weeks by fetal biometry. A repeat scan in the institution was done revealing a live fetus, 14 weeks by fetal biometry, with the placenta attached to the posterior portion of the uterus.  Patient was admitted for exploratory laparotomy and evacuation of abdominal pregnancy. Upon admission, vital signs were stable, cervical motion tenderness, and left adnexal mass with tenderness were noted.
